Builder of the Month

Builders
-author unknown

I saw them tearing a building down,
A gang of men in a busy town.
With a yo heave ho and a lusty yell,
They swung a beam and the sidewall fell.
I asked the foreman if these men were as skilled
As those he would hire if he were to build.
He laughed and said, "Oh, no indeed,
Common labor is all I need,
For they can wreck in a day or two,
What builders have taken years to do."
So I asked myself, as I went my way,
Which of these roles am I to play?
Am I the builder, who works with care,
Measuring life by the rule and square;
Or am I the wrecker who walks the town,
Content in the role of tearing down?

T-man was awarded the Builder of the Month award for Kindergarten this last month. The theme for the month was WORKING DILIGENTLY. This is what his teacher had to say about him: T-man is always ready to do what we need him to do. No matter what the assignment is, T-man has a smile on his face and is ready to jump on the task at hand! He is always prepared and goes the extra mile to get things done! He is a fast finisher!

Kids kids kids. There is nothing worse than the feelings you have when things go wrong for them, and nothing better than how super happy it feels when they have something go so well!

Way to go T! He is such a sweet kid and he looks so cute in a collared shirt. I can't believe you can get him to wear those. Nice blog background too!
