Strike a Pose, There's Nothing To IT

I really think the pictures say it all about this girl. Love her to pieces. She is so witty and helps us to have a good laugh. This could be our last dance recital because she is interested in doing gymnastics. But, I highly doubt it. The best thing about her dancing, is she is one step ahead of the teacher and the rest of the girls so she really stands out! We may need to work on that one a little.

Cotton Candy Ice Cream

My sister is going to kill me for posting that picture, but who really looks at this anyway, right? Besides, this is actual proof that her husband does exist. They came out for a few weeks from Florida. It was fun to see them and let the kids play.
Oh how we love Pei Wei.I love how KK loves to eat with chopsticks, and just stabs the thing to pick it up. I just wish there was one on this side of town.
We have become huge fans of Coldstone this summer. How can anyone pass up $1.50 for a kiddie size. The flavor of choice is usually cotton candy with gummy bears but every now and then the kids branch out. Since T-man doesn't eat candy, he usually gets a little creative and it usually looks really gross. I loved KK eating the blueberry ice cream. It just matched her shirt perfectly!

Just Keep Swimming

I started T-man on a pre-comp swim team in the fall. It is a great way to channel his energy into something a little more productive than bouncing off my walls. He does great! He keeps telling me he wants to try football and continue with basketball and soccer, but I am trying so hard to keep him going with this. He doesn't complain and doesn't tell me he wants to quit. It really helps to have meets so he can have some sense of accomplishment. He is the swimmer in the red cap. Sorry the tape isn't so great, just on a camera.

In True LeBron James Fashion

In this fall, it was a tough decision, in this fall "Brett" is going to be taking his talents to the East mountains of Salt Lake City and go to the University of Utah.
Brett has made his decision to go to the U of U. It has been a long few days. Who would have thought it would be so hard to decide where to go to school in the same area and to get the same degree. I guess the problem came in that we had two TOTALLY different ideas and views on the matter. I guess I have something to learn about submitting and supporting. Now I just have to survive the next year and a half. It is nice to know that the end truly is somewhat in sight.

Choices, Choices

So, right after I posted my last post about not hearing from the Y, Brett came home and checked his email, and voila. He found out he had been accepted at the Y. Brett grew up a Y fan, graduated from the U with his bachelor's degree and remained a Y fan. Now that the choice is his, I just am not so convinced that he will choose the Y. It will be interesting to see what he decides because I really have no clue. I will know by Wednesday because that is when he has to tell the Y by. It is nice to have choices and I feel blessed to have at least gotten somewhere here. I know there are a few of you out there who were hoping to get rid of us, but it just isn't going to happen all that easily.
I have so much to post from this summer, where to even start. Maybe I will get there someday. But for now, it will have to wait.
