Over Christmas we were supposed to go on a sleigh ride but because of a terrible storm that we got hit with, we missed it. This last weekend we decided to make good on the gift certificate and headed up to Midway to use it. The problem was, there wasn't enough snow so we had to go on a wagon ride instead. The kids had fun and we enjoyed learning about Hitch and Hike, the Clydesdale horses that pulled the wagon. We learned that Clydesdale horses are actually pretty lazy and got their image all because of Budweiser. We saw a herd of deer on the golf course and went and peered into the Crater, a swimming hole. It was perfect weather and no one complained of being cold!

oh, how fun. the kids loved the wangon rides we went on this last summer. i bet they didn't even miss the sleigh. you're lucky they didn't complain, their faces look very rosey.
